A Message from The Principal Paula Husar
Our best soccer players are representing the USA in the World Cup and our favorite baseball team, the Phillies, is even managing to put together a few victories. And just like those teams, the Chichester Middle School team entered the home stretch of our season and finished in style. That same spirit of putting out your personal best to help the team characterized our final week of school.
All of the hard work was celebrated on Thursday night as our eighth grade students were honored at their Moving up Ceremony. We offer our best wishes to our eighth grade students and their families as they move on to the high school level.
The middle school team would like to thank you for your support and cooperation throughout the school year. It is our hope that your summer will offer time for enjoyment and relaxation. As I will be here over the summer, please feel free to call or e-mail me with any questions and/or concerns.
Paula A. Husar
Principal – Chichester Middle School

A Message from the Assistant Principal Stephen J. Magliano
Dear Grade 5 and 6 Parents,
As the new Assistant Principal for grades 5 and 6, I am so excited to introduce myself to you.
I am a graduate of West Chester University. I continued on to do graduate work at Widener University where I obtained a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and also a Master's in Instructional Technology. I am currently taking additional coursework at Widener towards my Doctoral Degree in Instructional Technology.
I enjoy working with middle school students. All of my teaching experience has been at the middle school in the Upper Darby School District.
When I learned of the opportunity to join the outstanding staff at Chichester Middle School, I was really excited. I am looking forward to meeting your children and also working with you to help ensure your child's success.
I believe that learning should be fun and school should be a place where students feel welcome and good about themselves. I also firmly believe that all adults are educators and therefore, we all have to work together to help our children succeed and be all that they can be.
Please feel free to contact me at anytime if you have a question or concern regarding your child. Again, please know that I am delighted to be at Chichester Middle School and for the opportunity to work with you and with your children.
Sincerely,
Stephen J. Magliano

A Message from the 7/8 Grade Assistant Principal Fred Moon
Chichester Middle School continues to be an exciting place where you feel welcome from the minute you walk in the door. As the 7/8 grade Assistant Principal I understand and appreciate the value of a good education. The middle school years provide students with challenging and exciting learning opportunities. The Chichester Middle School faculty and staff are committed to providing a demanding academic curriculum, enriching extracurricular activities, and most importantly, setting high expectations for all.
The faculty and staff of Chichester Middle School promote a safe, positive learning environment, which I believe is the foundation for a good education. Students must feel good about their learning environment. In order to ensure a constructive learning atmosphere, we recognize there must be a collaborative work effort with our parents and community members. We encourage positive interaction between our parents, community members, and school personnel. When we work in harmony and with open communication, we are able to implement new initiatives like Positive Behavior Support (PBS), reduce the challenging incidents, and quickly address the academic goals of our students.
Our school continues to be a family composed of individuals of different ages and backgrounds, who are expected to be respectful and responsible members of the school and community. I am looking forward to helping students, parents and teachers to have a productive, successful and rewarding school year.
